Lani Frank

Lani Frank

After years poking at eyeballs as an optometrist, Lani now works as a freelance editor by day and writes kidlit books by night.

She’s a manuscript assessor for Faber Academy, has previously been a literary agency intern (remotely—the commute from Australia proved wildly inefficient), and is a coffee-addicted insomniac who refuses to believe the two traits are in any way connected. Lani revels in making manuscripts shine and helping other writers improve their craft. She does not usually look quite so glamorous.

Lani offers a broad range of editing services. She can help both new and experienced writers with everything from manuscript assessments to detailed line edits to writing the dreaded one-page synopsis before querying.

Lani is always happy to cater services to an author’s specific needs, so don’t hesitate to get in touch through her contact page!
