LC Milburn is the author of mind-bending YA horror and speculative thriller featuring girls with big feelings.
LC started writing as a child but struggled with the 'writing-it-for-other-people' aspect ever since being instructed to read something she wrote in front of her whole elementary school. An embarrassing number of years later she finally got her crap together and now writes primarily fast-paced, twisty and wtf-is-going-on YA. She also writes prolifically in an entirely different genre under a top-secret pseudonym.
When not writing you can find LC wrangling the humans she made, rearranging furniture and taking on overly ambitious renovation projects, consuming equal parts jump-scare horror movies and romantic tearjerkers, and working part-time at a cemetery.
LC is Canadian, was twice longlisted for the CBC short story prize and is published in the journal Little Fiction. She is represented by Hilary Harwell at KT Literary. You can reach her at her website (lcmilburn.com), on Instagram (@lc_milburn) or on Twitter (@lcmilburn).
